SSL, short for Secure Sockets Layer, protects your website data from being hacked. Your website address will start with “https”, have a little padlock icon 
next to it, and be termed “secure” by Google, which improves your page ranking.
If an SSL certificate had already been activated on your website you will no longer be billed separately for this.
